            Volleyball Recap: Jurupa Hills Spartans vs. Rialto Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Jurupa Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rialto Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  on September 4th.
 Jurupa Hills took Rialto into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 23-25, 23-25,  15-9.
 Jurupa Hills' loss  came despite strong showings from  Olivia Castanon and  Naomi Scott.  Castanon  had 14  digs and one assist, while  Scott  had 12  kills, four  digs,  and one  block.  Juliana Perez also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Jurupa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Rialto, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 14 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jurupa Hills will welcome Fontana  at 5:15  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Rialto, they will take on Rim of the World at 5:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
