The Cardinals currently lead the league with a 11-2 record overall and an 8-0 mark during league play.
Salem sits 2.50 games back in second, with a 5-2 record in league play.
Fort Edward's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 18 hits and 11 walks to lead the league in both categories. On the season, the Flying Forts have allowed just 97 hits, while striking out 78 batters.
Sean Morency leads the Flying Forts with 27 strikeouts in 32 innings.
Fort Edward, the league leader in stolen bases this season with 38, added to its lead in that category with 14 more steals over the past week. Manager Jeff Tully is giving his players opportunities to steal, and
