Volleyball Recap: Stillwater Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

Stillwater entered their tilt with Tamarac on Monday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Bengals by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Stillwater's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andie Luskin led the charge by getting 27 kills and three aces. Luskin is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 42 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Riley Stack, who had eight kills, seven aces, and six digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Stillwater was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 17 aces in three consecutive contests.

Stillwater's record now sits at 9-2-3. As for Tamarac, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stillwater will host Hoosic Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Tamarac, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Berne-Knox-Westerlo at 5:30 p.m.
