Recap: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Seneca East Tigers
The Sandusky Blue Streaks can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 70-39 win over Seneca East. Sandusky's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Mae Rameau was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. Khiya Rameau was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Sandusky's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-5. As for Seneca East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandusky will be home for the holidays to greet Perkins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Perkins is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. Seneca East will be home for the holidays to greet Upper Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Upper Sandusky presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Seneca East in Ohio (Upper Sandusky is ranked 248th, while Seneca East is ranked 648th).
