Baseball Recap: Limon Gets the Win

Limon's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Crowley County Chargers by a score of 12-7. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Brody Scherrer was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-5. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dreison Davis, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Limon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Crowley County, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Limon has already played their next matchup, a 10-6 win against Simla on the 25th. As for Crowley County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Holly on the 25th.
