Antonian Prep's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Lutheran Mustangs. The Apaches not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th.

Drake Carr was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

In other batting news, Ethan Rocha and Victor Suggs did most of the damage at the plate: Rocha scored three runs while going 3-for-3, while Suggs scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Suggs has posted since back in March of 2024. Emilio Negrete was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Antonian Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-14-1. As for Lutheran, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-10 record.

Coming up, Antonian Prep will venture away from home to take on Savio at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Apaches are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
