Basketball Game Preview: Redington Huskies vs. Seward Seahawks

The Redington Huskies will challenge the Seward Seahawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Redington will bounce into Friday's match after beating Houston, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Redington came out on top in a nail-biter against Houston on Tuesday, sneaking past 46-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since January 17th.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Seward sidestepped Homer for a 63-60 victory. The win continues a trend for the Seahawks in their matchups with the Mariners: they've now won eight in a row.

Redington's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-7. As for Seward, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
