Osage's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They never let the North Butler Bearcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Green Devils in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Osage's record now sits at 5-0. As for North Butler, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-2 record.

Looking ahead, Osage will take on Nashua-Plainfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Butler, they will face off against Clarksville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bearcats 1.9, the Indians 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
