Football Game Recap: Wylie vs. Prestonwood Christian

Prestonwood Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Wylie 46-6. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Prestonwood Christian are ranked far ahead of Wylie in the MaxPreps national rankings.

Prestonwood Christian's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 23 points in the first half. Wylie came up with 6 to make it 23-6 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Prestonwood Christian in the second half and held Wylie to 0 points. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.

Prestonwood Christian will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Greater Atlanta Christian at 7:30 PM. As for Wylie, they will face off against Rockwall-Heath.
