Football Recap: Superior Comes Up Short

Superior lost against Rice Lake back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Even if the Spartans couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Superior's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Rice Lake, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Superior is set to take on their familiar foe New Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rice Lake will challenge rival Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
