Coeur d'Alene dropped their record down to 18-3 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Eagle Mustangs by a score of 4-2. The Vikings were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the five contests prior), but the Mustangs' pitchers proved too tough.
