Istrouma is 5-0 against Capitol since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Istrouma Indians will host the Capitol Lions at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Istrouma saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were beaten by White Castle 81-51.

Istrouma might have lost, but man, Eryn Brown was a machine: she dropped a double-double on 45 points and 14 rebounds. That was a full 88.2% of Istrouma's points, marking the 26th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Capitol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 36-16 to Donaldsonville.

Istrouma has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-10 record this season. As for Capitol, their loss dropped their record down to 3-20.

Everything came up roses for Istrouma against Capitol when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 50-6 victory. Will Istrouma repeat their success, or does Capitol have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
