Recap: South Dade Buccaneers vs. Homestead Broncos
The South Dade Buccaneers were the 68-48 winner over the Homestead Broncos when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. South Dade took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Homestead on Thursday.
It was another big night for Anthony Reed , who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 10 rebounds for Homestead. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerimiah Rodriguez , who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
South Dade's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Homestead, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Dade will face off against Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Miami is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Homestead, they will head out on the road to face off against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
