Football Recap: Hatch Takes a Loss

Hatch lost against Linden back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats were beaten by the Patriots 48-16.

A big part of Linden's victory came down to the chemistry between Derente Charleston and his top target Jamarlon Adams. Charleston threw for 110 yards and four TDs while Adams picked up 62 receiving yards and three scores. That's the most passing yards Charleston has posted since back in September of 2024. Kareem Rembert got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Hatch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Linden, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Hatch will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greensboro at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Linden, they have already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Choctaw County on the 19th.
