South Cobb has gone 8-2 against Osborne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The South Cobb Eagles will face off against the Osborne Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a Battle of the Birds when South Cobb challenged Pebblebrook on Tuesday. South Cobb fell 61-49 to Pebblebrook. The Eagles have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-53 heartbreaker at the hands of Paulding County. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Patriots are ranked 112th).

South Cobb's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Osborne, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

South Cobb strolled past Osborne when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 59-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Cobb since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
