It's baseball season, probably raining, but the games have started.
It's spring, though the weather doesn't always agree. Rainouts have stalled the start for some teams throughout Northern California, but not for the mighty in the greater Bay Area.
Valley Christian and Saint Francis top these rankings, and the longtime rivals head a loaded West Catholic Athletic League.
No. 3 De La Salle is No. 3 and tops the East Bay League that includes No. 5 Amador Valley and No. 7 Foothill.
No. 4 Franklin heads the Delta League that includes Davis, Elk Grove and Jesuit.
