St. Paul moved up to 775 from 814 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in TAPPS Division III District 5. The Cardinals were able to make move up by beating St. Joseph Catholic 46-14.
St. Paul extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Eagles, 46-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
St. Gerard Catholic's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Royals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Samuel Medina has thrown for 1521 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Ernest Sanchez has 26 catches for 628 yards. Ronnell Davis leads the league in rushing with 229 yards.
A big matchup in TAPPS Division III District 5 this week will be when Brazos Christian takes on Sacred Heart. At the moment, the Eagles are in first, while the Indians are in third.
Sacred Heart led the league in scoring this week after putting up 57 points on St. Gerard Catholic.
