Sankofa Freedom Academy and Neighborhood Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Sankofa Freedom Academy had to settle for second. They fell 60-51 to the Bulldogs. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Sankofa Freedom Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Nafis Dubose and Asim Hardy. Dubose shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points and five rebounds, while Hardy posted six points in addition to six boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Terrence Fortson, who put up five points and 12 boards.

Sankofa Freedom Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Neighborhood Academy, the win was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-1.
