Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wamego). Everything went their way against the Chapman Irish on Tuesday as the Wamego Red Raiders made off with a 63-42 victory. This was payback for the Red Raiders, who suffered a 45-33 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Wamego and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Chapman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Wamego will take on Abilene in a holiday battle at on Friday. Wamego is facing Abilene at the right time seeing as Abilene is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Chapman will take on Clay Center in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clay Center will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Chapman surely won't give up without a fight.
