Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Takes a Loss

St. Mary lost against Cary Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Saints fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-2. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, St. Mary's sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-14, 16-25, 25-13, 26-28, 15-5.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cary Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's will head out to take on Cresset Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Cary Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Ravenscroft at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
