Football Recap: Groton School Comes Up Short

Groton School came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by Middlesex 41-12. Groton School was not able to make up for their defeat to Middlesex from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Groton School's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Middlesex, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Groton School is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Mark's at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Middlesex will square off against rival St. George's at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
