Basketball Recap: Conrad Gebauer's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chippewa Falls over River Falls

Chippewa Falls lost against River Falls back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cardinals came up short against the Wildcats, falling 80-56. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chippewa Falls lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Conrad Gebauer, who posted eight points. Connor Kolinski was another key player, putting up eight points.

Chippewa Falls now has a losing record of 1-2. As for River Falls, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chippewa Falls will be home for the holidays to greet Altoona at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Falls, they will host Prescott on Monday.
