Basketball Recap: Lincolnwood Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Lincolnwood hadn't done well against Greenfield/Northwestern recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lincolnwood Lancers managed a 40-35 win over the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers. That's two games straight that the Lancers have won by exactly five points.

Lincolnwood's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Lincolnwood and Greenfield/Northwestern's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Similarly, Greenfield/Northwestern will challenge Nokomis at 1:30 p.m. on December 26th, a team that's only allowed 29.3 points per game.
