Basketball Recap: Whiteface Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Whiteface can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 52-51 to the Miles Bulldogs.

Whiteface's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Miles, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Whiteface does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miles, they and Gruver will meet in a dog eat dog contest on Monday.
