Basketball Game Preview: Severna Park Falcons vs. Arundel Wildcats

Severna Park is 8-2 against Arundel since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Severna Park Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Arundel Wildcats at 5:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Severna Park has three straight wins, Arundel has 20 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Severna Park got the win against Glen Burnie by a conclusive 54-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Falcons have posted against the Gophers since February 23, 2018.

Meanwhile, Arundel ended up a good deal behind Glen Burnie on Friday and lost 48-33.

Severna Park's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.8 points over those games. As for Arundel, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.

Everything came up roses for Severna Park against Arundel when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 51-12 victory. Will Severna Park repeat their success, or does Arundel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
