Coral Shores had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Marathon Dolphins with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-13, 25-17.

Coralyn Frimpter paced Coral Shores' offense, picking up eight kills. Frimpter got some help from Shelby Lynn and her 12 assists. Lynn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Coral Shores' record is now 13-6. As for Marathon, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coral Shores will challenge Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marathon, they will square off against Glades Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
