Norris had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They never let the Standing Bear Grizzlies get on the board and left with  a   6-0  win. Considering the Titans have won seven contests by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Bryce Fountain made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Fountain was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple and two  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Carson Ibsen looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits any time he's  pitched this season.
 Fountain wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Kaden Kraft, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
Norris pushed their record up to 12-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Standing Bear,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norris will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Gretna East at 4:30  p.m.  on  the 21st. As for Standing Bear, they will face off against Columbus at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
