Volleyball Recap: Covenant Day's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It's playoff time, and Covenant Day had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Winston Salem Christian on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but Covenant Day sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Covenant Day was led to victory by Ben Keefer and Duh Mang. Keefer had five digs, three aces, and one block, while Mang had five digs. Keefer has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 23 times he's played.

Covenant Day couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 46% of their attack attempts. They are a perfect 10-0 when when their percentage is at least 0.4.

Covenant Day's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Winston Salem Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Covenant Day is on the road again on Saturday to play New Bern Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. New Bern Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Covenant Day surely won't give up without a fight. Winston Salem Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
