When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian School of Griffin lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Leah McLaurin. Despite the final result, she scored nine points along with seven assists and five steals. Chloe Thompson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Peoples Baptist Academy was led to victory by Emily St. Cyr and Emma Satterfield. St. Cyr scored 16 points, while Satterfield scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that St. Cyr scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kaitlynn Dorsey, who scored nine points.
