It was a good run, but Cosby unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Clover Hill Cavaliers by a score of 6-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Cosby's record now sits at 5-2-1. As for Clover Hill, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cosby will welcome L.C. Bird at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans are facing the Skyhawks at the right time seeing as the Skyhawks are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Clover Hill, they will host James River Midlothian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rapids have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
