Volleyball Recap: Wyoming Takes a Loss

Wyoming was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Taylor Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-18.

Taylor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Xavier Rodriguez out in front who had seven digs and two aces. Max Foley was another key player, getting nine digs and three assists.

Wyoming's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Taylor, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wyoming will head out to challenge Middletown Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Taylor, they will venture away from home to take on Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
