After losing to Bradley the last time they met, Lafayette County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lafayette County Cougars put the hurt on the Bradley Bears with a sharp 56-34 victory on Friday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Atesa Johnson was her usual excellent self, going 6 for 9 on her way to 16 points in addition to six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Mckinney, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 13 points.

Lafayette County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Bradley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

When Lafayette County and Bradley next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose.
