Baseball Recap: West Warwick Comes Up Short

West Warwick lost to Johnston back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wizards fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The contest marked the Wizards' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Nick Andruchow was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Lucas Cetolo also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

West Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Johnston, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

West Warwick wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-5 victory against Moses Brown on the 2nd. As for Johnston, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Middletown on the 2nd.
