Basketball Recap: Maple Grove Piles Up the Points Against Park Center

Maple Grove's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They breezed by the Park Center Pirates to the tune of 78-36. For the Crimson, this counts as revenge for the 63-58 victory the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March.

Maple Grove's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Park Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Maple Grove will be playing in front of their home fans against Eden Prairie at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Eden Prairie has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 237 points over their last three contests. As for Park Center, they are taking a road trip to square off against St. Louis Park at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. St. Louis Park will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Park Center surely won't give up without a fight.
