Volleyball Recap: Torres Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Torres was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Roosevelt Rough Riders. The Toros were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rough Riders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2017.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8, 25-18.

Roosevelt found their leader in freshman Natalie Vasquez, who had six digs and six aces.

Torres' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Torres has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Wilson on the 27th. As for Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Maranatha on the 23rd.
