Softball Game Preview: Brighton Bruins vs. Victor Blue Devils

The Brighton Bruins will square off against the Victor Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Victor took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Brighton, who comes in off a win.

Brighton barely beat Hilton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Cadets on Friday. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Cadets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Webster Thomas hit Victor with a four-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils fell 12-7 to the Titans. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Victor got a big performance out of Abby Harris, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Audrey Steinorth, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Victor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Brighton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
