Football Recap: Menchville Takes a Loss

Menchville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Hampton Crabbers and fell 60-7. The Monarchs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Crabbers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Adrian Wilson IV threw for 121 yards and one touchdown. Elius Graham was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

Menchville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hampton, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Menchville and Hampton will both be playing Woodside the next time they take the field. The Crabbers will head out to face the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Monarchs will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
