Whitefield Academy hasn't had much luck against Fellowship Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Whitefield Academy will head into Wednesday's match after some sweet revenge against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy: Whitefield Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, but still couldn't quite topple them. Whitefield Academy was the clear victor by an 84-62 margin over Mt. Bethel Christian Academy on Wednesday. Given the WolfPack's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Eagles are ranked 356th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Whitefield Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amelia Newman, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. Newman's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Haley Holland was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Whitefield Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Fellowship Christian earned a 40-27 victory over Landmark Christian on Tuesday.

Fellowship Christian has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Whitefield Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Whitefield Academy was dealt a bruising 56-23 loss at the hands of Fellowship Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024.
