Baseball Game Preview: Revere Minutemen vs. Tallmadge Blue Devils

The Revere Minutemen will challenge the Tallmadge Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Revere is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Revere's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Aurora, sneaking past 1-0.

Chase Clifford tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Tallmadge came up short against Lake Center Christian on Wednesday and fell 8-3. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tallmadge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Revere, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Revere came out on top in a nail-biter against Tallmadge in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Minutemen since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
