Luca Halalau leads a balanced attack to beat Faith Baptist

Recap: Bethany Christian vs. Faith Baptist

Bethany Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took down Faith Baptist 56-37. With that win, Bethany Christian brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Bethany Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Luca Halalau out in front who scored 21 points. Nathaniel Byers was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.

Faith Baptist lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Silas Mosey, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Zech Gartrelle, who scored eight points along with two steals.

Bethany Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Faith Baptist, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Bethany Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Defenders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomfield Christian School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the in Michigan (the Defenders are ranked 124th, while the are ranked 281st). As for Faith Baptist, they will be playing at home against the Fire at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
