That's more bragging rights for the Chancellors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Thales Academy Rolesville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Coleman Richman almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Richman a new career-high. Owen Cleek was another key player, putting up eight points.

St. Thomas More Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game.
