Volleyball Recap: James River HomeSchool Comes Up Short

James River HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grove Christian School Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.

James River HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Grove Christian School, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

James River HomeSchool and Grove Christian School will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to face off against their familiar foe New Bridge Academy at 6:00 p.m. on September 11. Meanwhile, Grove Christian School will challenge rival Williamsburg Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
