Baseball Recap: Moody Comes Up Short

Moody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of De Leon.

Brayden Cano was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Moody's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for De Leon, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Moody will challenge Lipan at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. De Leon has already played their next contest (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
