Raritan has won four straight games at home, while Red Bank Catholic has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Rockets will welcome the Caseys at 10:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Raritan 2.3, Red Bank Catholic 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Raritan barely beat Toms River East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rockets put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 11-5 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Holly Bellofatto, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Regiec, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Raritan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Red Bank Catholic faced Donovan Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Caseys fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Caseys in their meetings with the Griffins: they've now lost five in a row.
Mackenna Savage spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Lily Hagan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
Raritan's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Red Bank Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Raritan hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. However, it's not like Red Bank Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .360. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Raritan might still be hurting after the 13-1 defeat they got from Red Bank Catholic in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Rockets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
