Soccer Game Preview: Wayne County vs. East Central

Wayne County is 0-3 against East Central since December of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wayne County War Eagles will take on the East Central Hornets at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wayne County is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Enterprise, falling 7-0.

Despite a strong season so far, East Central has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. 2025 welcomed they with a 5-0 loss courtesy of Oxford on Saturday.

Wayne County's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for East Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-1.

Wayne County might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from East Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Wayne County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
