Baseball Game Preview: Old Fort Stockaders vs. Huron Tigers

The Old Fort Stockaders will head out on the road to square off against the Huron Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Old Fort is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Old Fort came up short against New Riegel and fell 6-1.

Old Fort saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew tackett, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Huron made easy work of Willard on Wednesday and carried off a 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won four matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Huron's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Old Fort, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
