Cimarron had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Guymon Tigers. The Bluejays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Jaylee Schilling paced Cimarron's offense, picking up 14 kills. Schilling were helped by Quinn Campbell and Emery May, who contributed 15 assists each.

Cimarron's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Guymon, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Cimarron has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Scott on the 25th. As for Guymon, after both having extra time off, they and West Texas will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
