Volleyball Recap: Concord Christian Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Concord Christian duked it out with Ensworth on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kylie Leach paced Concord Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Leach got some help from Manhattan Shuler and her eight assists. Leach was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Concord Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Ensworth, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Concord Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oak Ridge on the 23rd. As for Ensworth, they will square off against Battle Ground Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
