Softball Recap: Parish Hill Comes Up Short

Parish Hill lost against Lyman Memorial back in May of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pirates lost 21-4 to the Bulldogs.

Lillian Cloutier made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in both of her plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Parish Hill has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Lyman Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parish Hill will host Civic Leadership at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Lyman Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Putnam at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Clippers have averaged an impressive 11.8 runs per game this season.
