Softball Recap: East Bladen Comes Up Short

East Bladen lost against Pender last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. East Bladen came up short against Pender, falling 14-4. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Tatum Allen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those doubles were her first of the season.

East Bladen's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pender, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Bladen will challenge Heide Trask at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Bladen's pitchers better be ready for this one: Heide Trask has averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season. As for Pender, they will face off against Hobbton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
